Our top priority is yours and your pet's comfort and satisfaction while utilizing our dog daycare and enrichment services. While we strive to accommodate every pet, we understand that our services may not be a suitable fit for all animals. Some pets are more solitary by nature and prefer to be alone, while others may experience anxiety or fear in new environments or with new individuals. Therefore, we take the time to establish a connection with your pet, build trust, and ensure they're adapting well in our care.
Age: We require all guests to be at least 16 weeks old before attending On Cloud Canine's Enrichment Program. This will allow your pet to build a stronger immune system and receive their vaccinations before socializing with other dogs. They also undergo a critical socialization period up to 16 weeks, and large group play can negatively impact their development if they experience any fear, stress, or anxiety.
Canine Health: We require all canine guests to have the following vaccinations and procedures.
Health Agreement: We require all guests that enter our facility to have a current physical exam on file with their veterinarian. We do not accept pets into our facility who carry any contagious or infectious diseases; such as, canine cough (kennel cough), canine influenza, papilloma virus, mange, fleas, or intestinal parasites. All pets must be in good health to attend our program.
It is our responsibility to ensure a safe and fun environment for all who attend. We reserve the right to refuse any animal based on age, vaccinations, behavior, or general health.
Please complete the Daycare Application following the link below. Once we've received your responses, we will be in touch to create your Paw Partner account and get your pet(s) on the schedule for a Meet and Greet!
Our Meet and Greets run every week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday after-hours and by appointment. These appointments are 30-45 minutes, and ease your pet into our facility using a considerate approach and positive reinforcement. We will start their day by introducing them to some of our Playgroup Gurus; these daycare attendees are regulars who show low levels of FAS, have pawesome body language and are eager to show our new guests the ropes of appropriate play. They'll show them the ropes of dog daycare and enrichment, while we monitor their FAS throughout their day to ensure they are enjoying time in group play, taking breaks as needed, and coming when called.
Our gurus are utilized as our 'teaching' dogs, and are an important member in our pack dynamics. They show up to 'work' every day, ready to join us in our teaching philosophy. Dogs have been used as a tool to help train other dogs for many years. This is partly due to the fact that dogs are social animals and are able to communicate with each other in ways that humans cannot. They are also able to read each other's body language and respond accordingly.
One way in which dogs are used to train other dogs is through modeling. This involves allowing a well-behaved dog to demonstrate a desired behavior to a dog that needs to learn it.
The Benefits:
The Structure:
Every dog is different, and each will take time to become comfortable and learn what is expected of them in an off-leash group environment.
If your pet has been able to mesh with our current group, and is not showing elevated signs of FAS, we will move forward into our probationary period.
It is important to us that your pet feels confident in our space and acclimates in our playgroups well. Once your pet has passed his/her assessment, and has done a half day evaluation, we will begin a two-week probation period to allow your pet to become comfortable and continue to build skills. Once your pet has passed his/her assessment, and has done a half day evaluation, we will begin a two-week probation period to allow your pet to become comfortable and continue to build skills. When we give them time, we often see behaviors we did not see the initial visit; this is completely normal, and is expected. We want to ensure daycare continues to be a safe and fun environment for all. During these two weeks we will require your pet to attend daycare at least 2 days every week (total of 4 visits).
This will enable them to attend often, and with different groups of dogs daily. At the end of the trial period, your pet may attend daycare any day Monday-Friday by reservation.

Meet Kaelyn Winkler, the mastermind behind On Cloud Canine. With over a decade of animal behavior expertise, Kaelyn has crafted a pet care service that caters to your furry friend's fear, stress, or anxiety. Her passion for pets goes beyond making them happy campers; she's an animal advocate at heart. Since she was young, Kaelyn has loved and cared for all sorts of critters, from dogs to horses! She pursued her degree in veterinary studies while still in high school and began her pet care career at 19.
Her precious beagle, Blu, inspired her to create a pet care business that would cater to the unique needs of pets like him. She choses a Fear Free approach, because she believes every animal deserves to be treated with the same love, trust, respect, and loyalty they show us. And so, On Cloud Canine was born!
Kaelyn's favorite part of her job is helping pets that have a tough time trusting new people or suffer from separation anxiety. She loves working with their parents to create positive experiences and giving them a much-needed break.
When she's not cuddling furry friends, you can find her hanging with her partner Ross, reading, hiking, kayaking, practicing yoga, attending concerts, or cruising on her motorcycle.
Fun Fact: In 2022, Kaelyn was contracted to create a Continuing Education course for other FF Certified Professionals!
We're so grateful for your support of our woman-owned small business!
