Your Pet’s Comfort is Our Priority
At On Cloud Canine, we’re dedicated to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of both you and your pet. While we strive to accommodate every pet, we recognize that our daycare and enrichment services may not be the right fit for every animal. Some pets prefer solitude or may experience anxiety in new environments or with unfamiliar people.
That’s why we take the time to build trust, establish a connection with your pet, and ensure they feel comfortable and at ease in our care. Your pet’s well-being is always our top priority.
Age: To ensure the best experience for your pet, we require all guests to be at least 16 weeks old before attending our Enrichment Program. This allows your pup to build a stronger immune system and receive their vaccinations before interacting with other dogs. Additionally, puppies undergo a critical socialization period up to 16 weeks, and large group play during this time could negatively impact their development if they experience fear or stress.
Canine Health: We require all canine guests to have the following vaccinations and procedures.
Health Agreement: We require all guests that enter our facility to have a current physical exam on file with their veterinarian. We do not accept pets into our facility who carry any contagious or infectious diseases; such as, canine cough (kennel cough), canine influenza, papilloma virus, mange, fleas, or intestinal parasites. All pets must be in good health to attend our program.
It is our responsibility to ensure a safe and fun environment for all who attend. We reserve the right to refuse any animal based on age, vaccinations, behavior, or general health.
Please complete the Daycare Application following the link below. Once we've received your responses, we will be in touch to create your Paw Partner account and get your pet(s) on the schedule for a Meet and Greet!
Our Meet & Greets are offered by appointment on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings. These 30-45 minute sessions provide a gentle introduction to our facility using positive reinforcement and a thoughtful approach to ensure your pet’s comfort.

During your visit, we’ll start in our "Zen Den"—a peaceful space with calming music, soothing scents, and cozy surfaces for both you and your pet. Your pet will have the chance to engage in enrichment activities and meet us at their own pace, with high-value treats offered (unless there are diet restrictions). Feel free to bring along comfort items like a favorite toy or blanket.
Once your pet is relaxed and enjoying treats or activities, we’ll guide you both through the facility. Your pet will explore the space at their own pace, with no pressure. You’ll also have the opportunity to tour the facility and ask any questions.
At the end of the session, we’ll discuss your pet’s assessment and determine if they’re ready for a social evaluation or if additional steps or training are needed. We also offer a Day Training Program for pets who need extra help feeling comfortable or building skills.
To start your pet's daycare experience, we require a drop-off between 7:00-7:30 am for their social evaluation. During this time, your pet will be introduced to our Playgroup Gurus—well-behaved, experienced daycare dogs who excel at teaching appropriate play and positive behaviors.

These regulars help guide new dogs, setting a great example through calm, confident interactions. We monitor their FAS (Fear, Anxiety, Stress) throughout the day to ensure they’re comfortable and enjoying themselves.
Our Playgroup Gurus are integral to our philosophy of dog-to-dog learning. Dogs naturally communicate and model behavior for each other, which helps new pups adjust more easily and learn social cues.

Every dog is unique, and we take time to ensure they’re comfortable and understand what’s expected in a group play environment. We’ll focus on:
If your pet shows positive signs of adaptation, with manageable FAS, we’ll move them into our probationary period for continued monitoring and care.
At On Cloud Canine, we want your pet to feel confident and comfortable in our space. After successfully passing their initial assessment and social evaluation, we begin a two-week introductory period to help your pet acclimate and continue building skills. After successfully passing their initial assessment and social evaluation, we begin a two-week introductory period to help your pet acclimate and continue building skills. It’s normal for new behaviors to emerge during this time, and we’re here to support their adjustment every step of the way.
During this probation period, we ask that your pet attend daycare two days per week (a total of 4 visits). This gives them the chance to interact with different groups of dogs and ensures they stay on track with their socialization and learning.
At the end of the two weeks, your pet will be ready to attend daycare on any weekday (Monday–Friday) by reservation.
Please note, we do not recommend attendance every day of the week to prevent overstimulation and frustration, and to ensure your pet is getting adequate rest.

Meet Kaelyn Winkler, the mastermind behind On Cloud Canine. With over a decade of animal behavior expertise, Kaelyn has crafted a pet care service that caters to your furry friend's fear, stress, or anxiety. Her passion for pets goes beyond making them happy campers; she's an animal advocate at heart. Since she was young, Kaelyn has loved and cared for all sorts of critters, from dogs to horses! She pursued her degree in veterinary studies while still in high school and began her pet care career at 19.
Her precious beagle, Blu, inspired her to create a pet care business that would cater to the unique needs of pets like him. She choses a Fear Free approach, because she believes every animal deserves to be treated with the same love, trust, respect, and loyalty they show us. And so, On Cloud Canine was born!
Kaelyn's favorite part of her job is helping pets that have a tough time trusting new people or suffer from separation anxiety. She loves working with their parents to create positive experiences and giving them a much-needed break.
When she's not cuddling furry friends, you can find her hanging with her partner Ross, reading, hiking, kayaking, practicing yoga, attending concerts, or cruising on her motorcycle.
Fun Fact: In 2022, Kaelyn was contracted to create a Continuing Education course for other FF Certified Professionals!
We're so grateful for your support of our woman-owned small business!

While we’ve always included enrichment activities as part of our daycare routine, we’re now expanding our knowledge and skill set to bring even more benefits to you and your dog. We’ve enrolled in Enrich University, an innovative enrichment-based program designed to take our services to the next level. Over the next few months, we’ll be incorporating new enrichment activities into our daycare, grooming, and pet-sitting routines.
